Based in Durbanville, Cape Town, I've spent over 25 years as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and Microsoft-certified Azure Solutions Architect — designing, building, and running enterprise infrastructure across South Africa, with a particular depth in financial-sector environments.
My most defining engagement was leading the IT consolidation of multiple Sanlam Group subsidiaries into a single, centralised Group IT model — spanning Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, and Windows Server migrations at scale, using Quest Migration Manager. That project shaped how I think about complexity, governance, and getting things done right the first time.
